KICK-OFF CEREMONY OF 2020 NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH CELEBRATION

On March 02, 2020, the Local Government Unit of Pura, headed by Hon. Freddie Domingo, officially announced the opening of the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month during the Flag Raising Ceremony. It was led by LGU women employees, women in uniform and different women sectors. Mayor Domingo encouraged everyone, especially the youth, to support and join the national celebration. Likewise, the GAD Focal Point System had their opportunity to explain the theme, activities and various ways of achieving the objectives.

The National Women’s Month celebration every March is part of the worldwide observance of the International Women’s Day.
