2022 MUNICIPAL TB PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENT AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION

The LGU of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, presented its Municipal TB Prevention and Control Program Accomplishment Report on December 20, 2022, at the Pura Event Center.

Dr. Roedel Dizon, Municipal Health Officer, together with Ms. Antonette Ayson, RN, presented the 2022 accomplishment report of the LGU, especially on its passive case-finding activities to prevent and control Tuberculosis in the locality.

The LGU of Pura will further strengthen its Tuberculosis policies and programs to help the Philippines become a TB-free country.

Moreover, the said program became a venue to have a year-end assessment for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) for their accomplishment as they provide health care and nutrition services in the municipality.
