ANOTHER PRIDE OF PURA

2LT MANUEL DELA CRUZ DUMAYA, PAF, who recently Graduated from the Prestigious Japan National Defense Academy (NDA), had his courtesy call to the Municipality on April 11, 2023, at the Office of the Municipal Vice Mayor.
VM John Paul M. Balmores, together with SB members and LGU employees, personally congratulated 2LT Dumaya and paid a courtesy call to Vice Mayor Balmores.
Every year, the Japanese Government accepts selected PMA cadets to study at the NDA as full scholars under the Academy’s five (5)-year cadetship program for international students. The first year is devoted to Nihongo language training, as academic instruction is conducted purely in Japanese. The remaining four years are then allocated to the regular, university-level course. Training and exchanging military officers and personnel is a vital component of the Strategic Partnership between the Philippines and Japan in the defense and political security arena.
