AWARDING OF EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO COLLEGE STUDENTS
The LGU of Pura, headed by Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, already awarded cash aid to 430 college students in the first quarter of 2022.
This Gender and Development (GAD) program is one of the flagships programs of the LGU of Pura that aims to provide financial assistance to poor but deserving students to stay in school to complete their studies and rise above their beginnings.
In his message, Mayor Domingo commended the beneficiaries for their hard work and good grades.
He also mentioned that self-discipline during the virtual classes is a factor in reaching their aspirations in life.
Meanwhile, an Employment Coaching Seminar was provided before the awarding of educational assistance, which would help graduating beneficiaries seek jobs after graduating from their respective courses. The said awarding of cash assistance was conducted at the Pura Activity Center.
