Awarding of Educational Assistance

135 tertiary students (1st batch) stand to benefit from the scholarship program of the Municipality of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo. Education has always been on top of the LGU’s priorities and one of the programs it has maintained for years is college scholarship to deserving Puranians. The GAD Focal Point System, thru Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, steered the awarding of educational assistance on February 19, 2021 at the Pura Activity Center, attended by the Chairperson on Education, Kagawad Bernabe Idmilao. This program was funded under Gender and Development.
