BUNTIS PARTY 2022

On May 30, 2022, the LGU of Pura, headed by Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, spearheaded the one-day Buntis Party – a celebration of motherhood at the Pura Event Center.

Before giving the buntis kits, Ma’am Antonette Ayson, together with RHU Midwives, gave a brief discussion regarding safe motherhood and breastfeeding. Also, family planning was given a highlight during the short seminar.

In his message, Mayor Domingo reassured that the LGU would continue to provide maternal and child care programs in the locality.

This Gender and Development activity, the “BUNTIS PARTY,” is a celebration of motherhood that aims to decrease maternal morbidity and mortality by educating pregnant women about their condition, how to take care of themselves and when to seek proper guidance.

The said program was organized by the RHU Pura, led by Dr. Roedel Dizon and Dr. Liberty Domingo.
