Capacity Development for VAW-C Officers

To continuously capacitate Barangay VAW-C Desk Officers, the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS), in coordination with MSWD Office and Pura PNP, a capacity-building development seminar was steered on August 3, 2021. As this is a flagship program of GAD, Municipal VAW-C Desk Officer, Ms. Analiza A. Campo, and Pura WCPD PMSg Carolyn T. Camarillo briefly reoriented the Barangay VAW-C Officers regarding the R.A. 9262 and R.A. 9208.

Likewise, Mr. Joe Myrence T. Mendoza, GAD Assistant Focal Person, also pinpointed the importance of systematic reporting of VAW-C cases and reminded the VAW-C officers regarding the timely submission of their reports
