DA-BSWM CONDUCTS OUTPUT PRESENTATIONS OF SOIL/LAND RESOURCES EVALUATION

The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) conducted an output presentation of the Soil/Land Resources Evaluation and SAFDZ-CLUP Integration project of the Municipality of Pura on April 13, 2023, at the Municipal Hall Building.
A technical team headed by Mr. Bernardo B. Pascua – Agricultural Land Management and Evaluation Division Chief, presented the different components of the project and output maps that concluded the fieldwork activities and land resources data gathering.
The BSWM is the only government agency mandated to formulate measures and guidelines for the effective utilization of soils and water resources as vital agricultural resources to attain food security and safety, and environmental stability through soil and water resources-based adaptation and mitigation measures that address multi-environmental concerns on land degradation, climate change, and agricultural biodiversity conservation.
