DILG-BLGS conducts SGLG National Validation

          The assessment of the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for LGU’s kicked off last May 2017. Pura, was one among the fourteen (14) LGUs of Tarlac to be chosen as national qualifiers in the said prestigious contest. The National Validators were Team GeneRus composed of Mr. Genesis Esquilona and Mr. Russell Adalla from the DILG-Bureau of Local Government Supervision (BLGS).

            The validation went through smoothly since all the documents were all at hand and the sites inspected were all prepared. The MLGOO, SGLG Focal Person together with the LGU functionaries, Sangguniang Bayan and other NGA’s were present during the validation and interview at the SB Session Hall.  Meanwhile, the LGU is waiting for the final result comes October 2017.
