Educational Assistance Program – October 2020

An Educational Assistance Program is a financial aid given to deserving students for them to be able to continue their education. Believing that education is a key factor in poverty alleviation, it has always been one of the priorities of the Local Government Unit of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie Domingo, to provide quality education opportunities to deserving college students.

The GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) thru Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, conducted the awarding of educational assistance to college students on September 24, 2020 at the Municipal Activity Center. This GAD activity aims to prevent the proliferation of OSYs in the Municipality. It was funded from the Gender and Development.
