EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Five Hundred (500) tertiary students in Pura benefited from the Municipality of Pura’s scholarship assistance this second semester through the continuous support of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo on this program.

Education has always been at the top of the LGU’s priorities. One of the programs it has maintained for years is scholarships to deserving Puranians. The GAD Focal Point System steered the awarding of educational assistance at the Pura Event Center. This program was funded under the Gender and Development (GAD) fund, extending financial aid to college students and promoting all students’ right to quality education.

Also, the LGU of Pura provided a seminar entitled: “A Kick on Self-Management: Managing Yourself for Success,” wherein Dr. Marie Paz H. Angeles served as the Resource Speaker.

Moreover, Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores and Sangguniang Bayan members personally handed the said assistance to beneficiaries.
