ELDERLY WEEK CELEBRATION 2022

The LGU of Pura, led by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo and Vice Mayor Atty. John Paul M. Balmores, together with Sangguniang Bayan members, graced the celebration of Elderly Week on October 7, 2022, at the COC Multi-Purpose Arena.
This year’s theme, “Older Persons: Resilience in Nation Building,” recognizes the significant contribution of our elders to nation-building. The Senior Citizen Presidents of sixteen (16) barangays in Pura, led by Mr. Feliciano C. Lambus (OSCA Head), received Certificates of Appreciation from the LGU, signifying their dedication and invaluable services to the municipality.
In addition, Mrs. Luzviminda Idmilao, an entrepreneur and active member of the FSCAP Pura Chapter, was hailed as the “2nd Placer in Ulirang Nakatatanda in Entrepreneurship” in the Province of Tarlac.
A short discussion and symposium was also given during the said activity:
• Kahalagahan ng Kalusugan at Bakuna by the RHU;
• KASIMBAYANAN Project and BE Careful by the PNP; and
• Mga TIPS para maging masaya at malusog ang Nakatatanda by Mr. Lambus.
