FIRST MONDAY FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY
The LGU of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, steered the first Monday flag-raising ceremony earlier today, August 1, 2022, together with Vice Mayor John Paul Balmores and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
The LGU of Pura mourns the loss of Former President Fidel V. Ramos. As a symbol of respect for one of the nation’s great leaders, the Philippine flag is only raised at half-mast during today’s flag-raising ceremony.
Moreover, the LGU of Pura recognized the achievement of the PWD Association of Pura in winning 1st Place in Search for Talentadong Person with Disability in celebration of the 44th NDPR Week. The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines – Pura Chapter was also recognized for winning 1st place in the Mishmash of Spoken Poetry and Dance Competition during the 48th Founding Anniversary of PYAP.
