Launching of Psychiatric and Psychological Services

The LGU of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, launched its Psychiatric and Psychological Services on September 9, 2022, at the Pura Event Center. It is in line with the LGU of Pura and PB Link Psychiatric and Psychological Center’s Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signed on June 2022.

This GAD initiative of the LGU delivers mental health services closer to the community.

Present during the launching were Hon. Michelle D. Cariazo, Hon. Teodora D. Robino, Mr. Joe Myrence T. Mendoza – a Registered Psychometrician, Ma’am Antonette U. Ayson – Municipal Nurse, Ma’am Liza Gabuya – Midwife, and mental health patients in Pura together with their family.

This activity was organized by the MSWD Office led by Ma’am Analiza A. Campo, Ma’am Darlene Granadozin, Sir Recelito Valdoz, and Sir Romnick Ramiterre.

As we work hand-in-hand, we can elevate the consciousness of the locality on mental health and help to end the stigma attached to mental illnesses.
