Lecture and Orientation

In the light of Women’s Month, an orientation/seminar on Laws Protecting Women and Mothers was held last March 21, 2018 at Pura Multi-Purpose Building. Atty. Katherine G. Apolonio – Carantes, the Resource Speaker, talked about the R.A. 9262 and R.A. 7610. She gave insights and awareness regarding on the protection and the rights of women in the Philippines. The said activity aims to educate women of different age group about different laws on protecting women and mothers. Certificate, tokens and honorarium were given to the Resource Speaker, led by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer and staff. Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials on R.A. 9710, R.A. 9262, R.A. 8353, R.A. 9208 and R.A 7877 were reproduced and distributed to the participants after the orientation/seminar.
