LGU OF PURA AWARDS EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO COLLEGE STUDENTS UNDER THE GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The LGU of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, started the awarding of educational assistance to college students on October 11, 2022, at the COC Multi-Purpose Arena.
Education has always been one of the priorities of Mayor Domingo, and it has been maintained for years. In his message, he mentioned that he will continue prioritizing this valuable program, “Every student has the right to quality education, and we are trying our best to expand our current scholarship program to accommodate more students,” he added.
More than four hundred fifty (450) college students are expected to receive educational assistance for the first semester of A.Y. 2022 – 2023.
Present during the awarding were Mr. Joe Myrence T. Mendoza – GAD Focal Person, Ms. Analiza A. Campo – MSWD Officer, and Mr. Romnick Ramiterre – Scholarship Program Focal Person.
