LGU OF PURA EMPOWERS WOMEN THRU LIVELIHOOD TRAINING

Women empowerment is alive in our municipality as the LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, has lined up a series of activities for the Women’s Month Celebration to help women uplift their lives through livelihood training and seminar.

With the partnership with Tarlac State University, twenty (20) women from Barangay Balite underwent livelihood training on March 21-22, 2023, at the Barangay Balite Covered Court. A Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices seminar was provided following the training on soya milk, tofu/tokwa making, and out-of-soya sapal.

Indeed, the Municipality of Pura continues to assist women bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic in livelihood and economic activities.

Again, thank you, TSU and Barangay Balite, for assisting with this worthwhile project. Congratulations to all recipients. We hope for the sustainability of this project!
