LGU OF PURA HOLDS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SEMINARS
To continuously raise awareness of Mental Health, a seminar entitled: “Mental Health Awareness: Breaking the Stigma” was initiated on April 27-28 and May 2-3 at the Pura Event Center. All senior high school students, who are currently rendering their work immersion, served as participants.
Mr. Joe Myrence T. Mendoza, a Licensed Psychometrician and Certified Mental Health First Responder, served as the Resource Speaker. He briefly presented the basic concepts and keynotes about Mental Health.
This GAD activity is one of the initiatives of the LGU of Pura. It aims to raise awareness about mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental health illness, and promote help-seeking behaviors and emotional well-being.
Again, let’s be good role models and an agent of change regarding mental health.
