LGU OF PURA SUPPORTS PROJECT FRED
As the LGU continues to encourage the skills and abilities of students in Pura, the LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, supports Project FRED (Fostering Responsible Journalism and Empowering the District of Pura’s Budding Campus Journalists), a proposal by Dr. Ariel V. Sicalbo, Principal III.
This project aims to improve and enhance the skills, abilities, and talents of the campus journalists who are DSPC qualifiers in the public and private elementary and secondary schools in the Municipality of Pura. The project further targets providing rigid training and preparation aside from the incentives to motivate journalists to bring pride to their respective schools and the Municipality of Pura.
Moreover, Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores attended the Municipal Schools Press Conference Intensive Training of the Project FRED with Dr. Marilou F. Santiago – DepEd District Supervisor, and school heads at Estipona National High School Multi-Purpose Covered Court.
