LGU OF PURA WARMLY WELCOMES VISITORS FROM SOUTH KOREA
Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores, together with SB members and LGU functionaries, warmly welcomed the Strategic Administrator Office – Rural Employment Management Team of Geochang, Republic of Korea, composed of Mr. Lee Minho and Ms. Woo Gahee, on April 12, 2023, at the Municipal Hall Building. Mr. Lee and Ms. Woo visited the humble Municipality of Pura to strengthen the partnership between the Municipality of Pura and the Municipality of Geochang, Republic of Korea and personally attended the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
Both parties presented their terms and conditions during the ceremonial signing, leading to an extensive, clearer MOU. Also, it became a venue for both parties to extend their gratitude for the opportunities of the Seasonal Worker Program. It is also reiterated that the protection and security of seasonal workers and farm owners must be the MOU’s utmost priority.
Moreover, Mr. Lee and Ms. Woo had the chance to meet the seasonal workers in the Municipality.
