
LGU PURA CONDUCTS 2022 SGLG EXIT CONFERENCE; EYES FOR ITS SIXTH SGLG AWARD
The LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, conducted the 2022 SGLG Exit Conference on March 31, 2023, in the SB conference room. Members of the SB, LGU functionaries and employees, PNP, BFP, and CSO representatives attended the said activity. The SGLG is a national recognition and flagship program of the DILG that awards and incentivizes LGUs that excel in various areas of governance.
The rationale of the activity was led by LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera, Cluster Team Leader. More so, the results of the 2022 SGLG implementation were discussed with the team, highlighting the gaps identified and the necessary preparations to consider in bagging the seal once again in the coming year, presented by LGOO VI Mon Alven A. Lagonilla, DILG Tarlac SGLG Provincial Focal Person and LGOO VI Camille Ann Transfiguracion, Alternate SGLG Provincial Focal Person.
In his message, Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores underlined his commitment to improving LGU’s further capabilities and taking note of the assessment result to vie for 2023 SGLG.
Likewise, DILG – Tarlac Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, commended the LGU SGLG team for their collaborative efforts. She emphasized that the DILG will continue to become their partner in good governance.
Engr. Abegel A. Pagatpatan – SGLG Focal Person, LGOO VI Precious Ava E. Guevarra, and members of the SGLG entrusted their commitment to once again be an awardee of the said award – as the 2023 SGLG Possible Indicators and Planning officially began.
