LGU SUPPORTS BARANGAY FOR THE COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE

The LGU of Pura, headed by Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, supported the barangays to collect solid waste from the household level by handing 16 units of tri-bike on January 12, 2022.
It is in line with the LGU’s responsibility to adhere in the Philippines endeavor to improve its solid waste management through the passage of RA 9003, or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, which provides for a systematic, comprehensive, and ecological waste management program to ensure the protection of public health and the environment.
