MUNICIPALITY OF PURA AND MUNICIPALITY OF GEOCHANG, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, STRENGTHENS THEIR PARTNERSHIP THROUGH A CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF MOU

On April 4, 2023, a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Municipality of Pura and the Municipality of Geochang, Republic of Korea, marked a strengthened partnership on Seasonal Worker Program.

Despite the unprecedented challenges and circumstances, both parties reviewed the previous MOU intensively, leading to an extensive, clearer MOU. Likewise, both parties agreed to the reinstated and improved MOU and Employment Contract through a Zoom Conference. It is also noted that this partnership must protect the seasonal workers and farm owners, which benefits everyone.

Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores, SB officials, LGU functionaries, and other concerned individuals attended the Zoom Conference at the SB Conference Room.
