NATIONAL ORAL HEALTH MONTH

The month of February marks the celebration of Oral Health Month in the Philippines. This year’s theme:” Lahat ay Kabilang Kalusugan ng Ngipin at Bibig Tutugunan” which aims to strengthen oral health awareness and service delivery.

In line with that, thru the Rural Health Unit of Pura, Municipal Dentist Dr. Ericson Marzan organized a dental check-up and fluoridation (Topical Fluoride Application) to 428 preschoolers of Pura.

This observance aims to strengthen public awareness of the importance of good oral health, especially for preschoolers. It also highlights good tooth brushing habits and proper technique.
