NUTRITION EVALUTION 2022

The LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, underwent the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Implementation Pro (MELLPI-PRO) on the 2021 Accomplishment Nutrition Programs on September 16, 2022, at the RHU.
The Provincial Nutrition Evaluation Team comprised Ms. Maria Corazon Bernardo – Provincial Nutrition Action Officer; Ms. Evelyn Gamurot – Nurse; Ms. Apriel May Ramos – DOH-NDDP, Ms. Amelia Pamintuan, and Ms. Melita Alberto from PSWDO.
The team then validated the LGU of Pura’s accomplishments with Ms. Antonette Ayson, RN and MNAO-designate, Mr. Joe Myrence Mendoza, RPm and former MNAO, and the 16 Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) on the different nutrition dimensions, such as its mission and vision, governance, structure, and the various nutrition interventions provided by the municipality to address nutrition-related issues and concerns. Also, the evaluation was composed of a desk review of 2021 documents, interviews, and feedback.
This nutrition monitoring and evaluation aim to assess the nutrition program implementation and performance of the LGU.
