Pura Balite Farmers Association, Inc. received 1-unit four-wheel tractor and 1-unit of a rice combine harvester

With the help of the Department of Agriculture-PHilMech (DA-PHilMech), the Pura Balite Farmers Association, Inc. gratefully received 1-unit four-wheel tractor and 1-unit of a rice combine harvester on October 22, 2021, at Barangay Balite, Pura, Tarlac.
Present during the turn-over of machinery were Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, Municipal Agriculturist Adoracion Dayag, Mr. Joe Alexis Quismorio, DA staff, and Barangay Officials of Balite, headed by Barangay Chairperson Virginia Cendreda.
This program is under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Mechanization Programs that aims to raise rice farmers’ productivity, profitability, and global competitiveness through strengthened access and use of appropriate production and postproduction mechanization technologies.
