PURA BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE ASF SENTINEL PIGS AS A PRELUDE TO HOG REPOPULATION

Fifteen (15) beneficiaries from the LGU of Pura already received their sentinel pigs on December 1, 2022. The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO III) distributed sentinel pigs, and swine commercial feeds to hog raisers in Pura, assisted by the Municipal Agriculture Office led by Mr. Leo S. Transfiguracion.
The sentinelling program is a prelude to the swine repopulation program to increase hog production and, subsequently, stabilize the supply and prices of pork.
Again, the LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, extends its appreciation to DA-RFO III for supporting our Municipality.
