PURA EARNS ITS FIFTH GOOD GOVERNANCE AWARD, DILG CONFERS LGU OF PURA’S SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE (SGLG)

With pride and joy, the LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, once again received its Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award for the fifth time today, December 15, 2022, in an awarding ceremony conducted by the Department of Interior and Local Government at The Manila Hotel.

Present during the awarding ceremony were Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores, who personally received the SGLG award, together with Engr. Abegel A. Pagatpatan – SGLG Focal Person, and Ms. Precious Ava E. Gueverra – DILG-MLGOO.

The Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) is the highest award conferred by DILG to provinces, cities, and municipalities. It symbolizes the DILG brand of “Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang Pamahalaang Lokal.” Likewise, it is an incentive, honor, and recognition-based program that aims to boost the LGU’s drive to constantly progress in delivering public service through compliance with pertinent national laws.
