Pura Farmer’s safe touchdown in South Korea
The 25 Pura farmers comprising Pura’s first batch to the Seasonal Agricultural Sector Development Exchange Program to South Korea arrived safely yesterday, April 18, following a 4-hour flight from NAIA to the Seoul Incheon International Airport.
Prior to their flight, in his message, Mayor Freddie D. Domingo wished all the farmers good luck. He highlighted that this program would give them seizing growth opportunities and help them discover all possibilities to support their families and make the Municipality of Pura proud of them. He also assured them that their protection and safety were his utmost priority.
This 5-month exchange program aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and experiences of farmers in adopting modern agricultural technologies from cultivation to harvesting agricultural produce.
Again, congratulations to all our dearest farmers! We will continue praying for your safety!
