Pura observed the first “Family Week Celebration” last September 25, 2017 at Barangay Nilasin 2nd Covered Court. It was graced by no less than the Local Chief Executive, members of the Sangguniang Bayan and father Elmer Gonzales who served as the Guest Lecturer to the parents who were present in the said occasion.
The observation of the National Family Week aims to increase awareness on national and local efforts to carry out specific programs concerning families by generating new programs, activities and strengthening the existing ones. This undertaking also seeks to promote collaboration among national and local NGOs in support of multi-sectoral activities targeting the families at the grassroots.
