PURA MADE IT AGAIN! FINALIST OF THE PCCI’S 2022 MOST BUSINESS-FRIENDLY LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT

The LGU of Pura has been chosen again for the 4th time as one of the finalists for the 2022 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
In the final judging held on October 4, 2022, via Zoom, Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, alongside LGU functionaries, highlighted the LGU’s approach to restoring and resuming business operations in the locality. He also mentioned the locality’s efforts in creating an environment for business growth in partnership with the private sector. Moreover, a ten-minute question and answer occurred afterward.
This award is a recognition of the largest business organization and representative of the private sector in the country. PCCI recognizes LGUs that have demonstrated outstanding efforts in instituting good governance reforms to promote trade and investments, transparency, accountability, and efficiency in delivering business services to generate inclusive and sustainable growth and fast-track local economic development in their localities.
Announcement and conferment of the award will be done during the 48th Philippine Business Conference (PBC) on October 20, 2022, at the Manila Hotel.
