PURA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION LAUNCHES THE PROJECT “B.E. C.A.R.E.F.U.L”
The LGU of Pura, led by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, through the Pura Municipal Police Station, led by PMAJ Arnedo C. Pineda, ACOP, launched a Barangay-based program designed to address all forms of assault against women and their children on July 28, 2022, at the Charlie O. Cojuangco Arena.
The project B.E. C.A.R.E.F.U.L (Barangay Empowerment on Child Abuse Resistance and Elimination Fight Against Unwanted Lewd Design) is aimed to strengthen the bonds of Philippine National Police and the community in the campaign to eradicate sexual abuse thru massive information campaign to all residents at any age level with the help of partners agencies and stakeholders.
The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Jun Paragas of St. Antoninus Parish Church, Hon. Orlando B. Capinpin – Chairperson of Committee in Peace and Order, Analiza A. Campo – MSWD Officer, DepEd District Supervisor Dr. Marilou F. Santiago, Barangay Councils, Barangay VAW-C Desk Officers, and some representatives from CSOs.
Also, it was led by the Pura WCPD Officer PMSg Carolyn T. Camarillo and PLT Ednalyn P. Briones – Chief Provincial Women and Children Protection Center, Tarlac Police Provincial Office representative.
