PURA RECEIVES “GAWAD KALASAG SEAL OF EXCELLENCE”

Through the Office of Civil Defense, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) held the National Awarding Ceremony for the 22nd Gawad KALASAG Seal and Special Awards for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance on December 7, 2022, at the Manila Hotel.

Consequently, as one of the awardees, the LGU of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, personally received the prestigious award led by Municipal Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores and Arch. Arsenio S. Sabado III.
The LGU of Pura is being recognized as “Fully Compliant” as it garnered a rating of 1.72 and is generally adherent to the standards for the establishment and functionality of the LDRRMCOs.
