SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN MANDATORY TRAINING (SKMT) AND OATH-TAKING CEREMONY FOR THE NEWLY ELECTED SK OFFICIALS
As stated in Section 28 of RA No. 10742, otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015,” as amended by RA No. 11768, all elected SK Officials must complete the SK Mandatory Training before assuming their positions.
With these, the SK Officials of the Municipality of Pura have actively participated in the Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT) 2023 held at the Pura Event Center on November 10, 2023.
The importance of the SKMT to orient the newly-elected youth officials on the SK history is to planning and budgeting, meetings and resolutions, code of conduct and ethical standards, decentralization, and local governance.
After the training, an oath-taking ceremony was conducted. Expressing their solidarity, Vice Mayor Atty. John Paul M. Balmores, MLGOO IV Precious Ava E. Gueverra, and LGU functionaries were present to inspire and support the newly-elected SK Chairpersons.
Once again, the LGU of Pura congratulates all the newly-elected SK Officials in the municipality!
