SEPTEMBER IS CIVIL SERVICE MONTH | FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY
On September 5, 2022, the Local Government Unit of Pura, through the leadership of Mayor Freddie D. Domingo and Vice Mayor John Paul M. Balmores, celebrates the 122nd Philippine Civil Service (CSC) anniversary with the theme: Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready-Servant Heroes during its traditional first Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.
In recognizing the nationwide month-long celebration of the CSC Anniversary, the LGU of Pura held a simple program. For loyalty awards, Mr. Rocky Obiena and Engr. Marvin Bañaga received a certificate and cash incentives for their 25th and 20th years in the public service, respectively. On the other hand, Mayor Domingo recognized the valuable contributions made by retired and retiree employees, who include Ma’am Lydia Resos, former Local Civil Registrar, Sir Jovito Punzalan, former Sangguniang Bayan Secretary, and Ma’am Adoracion Dayag, Municipal Agriculture Officer. They have all received a recognition plaque and tokens from LGU of Pura as a means of appreciation.
This year’s activity provides appreciation, motivation, and support to our public servants in ensuring that LGU of Pura officials and employees remain committed and trustworthy.
In light of the theme, Mayor Domingo and Vice Mayor Balmores encouraged all public servants to become agile and to adapt to changes in a swift manner in order not to be left irrelevant in terms of delivering public service.
The kick-off ceremony was participated by SB Officials, Department Heads, Employees, Barangays Councils in Pura, and CSOs.
