The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) turned over the Atlas of Soil-Based Agricultural Guide Map to the Municipality of Pura on January 11, 2022

The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) turned over the Atlas of Soil-Based Agricultural Guide Map to the Municipality of Pura on January 11, 2022, at the Office of the Municipal Mayor.
This atlas contains the soil Fertility Map, Nutrient Maps, pH Map, Fertilizer Guide Map, and Rice Suitability Map. This atlas will indicate the soil’s nutritional status (deficiencies) and, more significantly, provide recommendations on the type and amount of nutrients and fertilizers needed in specific areas.
The said turned over was attended by our Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, Municipal Agriculturist Adoracion M. Dayag, and Agriculture Office personnel.
