THE LGU OF PURA HAS BEEN CONFERRED AS A FULLY COMPLIANT LGU IN THE 2022 GAWAD KALASAG SEAL FOR DRRM

Congratulations to the LGU of Pura, led by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, for garnering a fully compliant award for this year’s 22nd Gawad Kalasag Seal for Excellence in DRRM and Humanitarian Assistance for the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils and Offices.
The LGU of Pura is one of the three cities/municipalities in the Province of Tarlac that is conferred by the said award.
The Gawad Kalasag Seal for LDRRMO envisions serving as an assessment mechanism for all Local Government Units as they implement the mandatory provisions of Sections 11 and 12 of Republic Act No. 10121 on the Institutionalization of their Local DRRM Councils (LDRRMCs) and Local DRRM Officers (LDRRMOs), including other policy issuances of the NDRRMC.
The LGU of Pura will continue to improve and innovate in providing excellent services to the locality, especially in the DRRM.
