THE LGU OF PURA HOLDS JOBS FAIR AND CARAVAN OF SERVICES
The Municipality of Pura, headed by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, through the Public Employment Service Office and Local Youth Development Office, held a Jobs Fair and Caravan of Services on August 12, 2022, at the Charlie O. Cojuangco Multipurpose Arena.
Relative to this, PESO has tapped various agencies and companies to participate in the said event. This job fair is one of PESO’s many employment opportunities, especially for the new graduates from college.
A total of 8 local employers and three nationalities agencies participated in the job fair and offered 500 job vacancies and registered 54 job applicants.
Jobs Fair is one of the DOLE’s employment facilitation strategies aimed at fast-track the meeting of jobseekers and employers/overseas recruitment agencies in one venue at a specific date to reduce cost, time, and effort, particularly on the part of the applicants.
Moreover, the Jobs Fair is one of the lineup activities in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan with the theme: “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages.”
