Training Course on Production Technology with Extension Support for RBOs (Batch 3)

#ATICentralLuzon conducts Training Course on Production Technology with Extension Support for RBOs (Batch 3) at Convention Center, Barangay Poblacion 2, Pura, Tarlac. The training runs from May 9-11, 2023.
The participants of the training are twenty-two (22) Rural Improvement Club Officers and Members of Pura, Tarlac.
Mr. Leo S. Transfiguracion, Municipal Agriculturist welcomed the participants and advised the participants to have Facebook page per club in order for them to market their products.
“Mapalad po tayo dahil nabigyan tayo ng pagkakataon ng ATI na bigyan ng training na kung saan hindi lamang kayo matututo sa tatlong araw kundi kayo rin po ay mabibigyan ng extension support na pwedeng pagkuhanan ng dagdag kita ng inyong mga samahan. Nawa kayo po ay matuto at maituro ninyo sa mga kasamahan ninyo na wala dito para sila rin ay magkaroon ng sapat na kaalaman sa inyong gagawing pagsasanay,” he quipped.
Engr. Joey A. Belarmino, PhD, Center Director graced the Opening Program and acknowledged the efforts of the participants in attending the said training.
“Karamihan po sa inyo ay mga propesyonal at alam ko po na kayong lahat ay may iisang layunin at iyon ay ang umunlad ang pamumuhay ng bawat kasapi ng inyong mga kanya-kanyang samahan. Ang inyong pag-aaral sa loob ng tatlong araw ay inyong sandata para sa mas magandang kinabukasan ng inyong mga samahan. Nawa ang training na ito at ang mga extension support na inyo pong makukuha ay makatulong sa inyong samahan upang magkaroon kayo ng dagdag kita at maitaas ang antas ng pamumuhay sa inyong mga kanya-kanyang barangay at samahan. Umaasa kami na pagkatapos ng training na ito ay mas magkaroon ng positibong pagbabago sa inyong mga samahan. Muli, maraming salamat sa inyong partisipasyon at magandang araw po sa ating lahat,” he said.
Ms. Estelita N. Quiambao, Municipal RIC Coordinator acknowledged the participants.
Meanwhile, Dr. Dianne M. Lapuz, RBO Regional Focal Person and Project Officer of the training gave the overview of the training and commended the participants for their passion and commitment for having livelihood programs aside from their requested training.
“Naniniwala ako na ang mga taong marunong tumupad sa usapan ay magkakaroon ng maraming pagpapala. Kayo po ay mga babae at hindi babae lang! Karamihan sa inyo ay mga propesyonal at alam kong kapag nagtulungan po kayo ang mga makukuha ninyong extension support ay maaaring maging dahilan kung bakit lalong makikilala ang inyong RIC Municipal Federation. Kaisa po ninyo ang ATI sa mga programa na naglalayong magbigay ng dagdag kaalaman at kita sa ating mga RBOs,” she shared.
Ms. Maria Theresa S. Villanueva, RBO Regional Alternate Focal Person and Assistant Project Officer of the training facilitated the Leveling of Expectations and assured the participants that the 3-day training will be worth their time.
Ms. Emma V. Tolentino, one of the Learning Sites for Agriculture in Central Luzon served as the Resource Person of the first day of the training.
She presented the basics of vegetable production. In addition, the participants prepared their respective natural concoctions.
Dr. Belarmino together with Dr. Lapuz, Ms. Quiambao and Former Municipal Agriculturist Ms. Adoracion Dayad held a courtesy call to Hon. Atty. John Paul Balmores, Vice Mayor of Pura, Tarlac.
Atty. Balmores shared his future plans for the RBOs of his municipality. He said that one of their plans is to put up a specific area that will help the youth and women sell their products.
