Women’s Talk Forum: Nourishing Mind and Body

In connection with the National Women’s Month Celebration, the LGU of Pura, headed by Municipal Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, steered a women’s talk forum on March 25, 2022, at the Pura Activity Center.

In his message, Mayor Domingo expressed his commendation to all women in the locality who serve as the modern heroes of today and play an essential role in our society. He also said that the LGU fully supports women’s empowerment and achieving gender equality.

Dr. Reena Boquiren, Dr. Joseph Francisco, and Dr. Emily Co served as Resource Speakers of the said activity. Attended by different women sectors in the municipality, PNP, and LGU employees, the forum intended to enlighten the significance of mental health and taking care of one’s mental health through a practical guide for self-care.

The said undertaking was initiated by the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) and was organized by the MSWDO. This women’s talk forum is one of the highlight activities of the municipality at this year’s celebration.
