Year-End Assessment for Barangay VAW-C Desk Officers
The LGU of Pura, led by Mayor Freddie D. Domingo, conducted a Year-end Assessment for Barangay VAW-C Desk Officers last December 10, 2021, at the SB Conference. Sir Joe Myrence T. Mendoza, GAD Focal Person, and Ma’am Analiza A. Campo, Municipal VAW-C officer, assessed our VAW-C officers regarding the submission of their quarterly reports, effective handling of VAW-C cases, and documenting and evaluating VAWC cases received. Likewise, Pura WCPD PMSg Carolyn T. Camarillo briefly discussed R.A. 11313 or Safe Spaces Act. This new act ensures an individual’s sense of personal space and public safety.
Correspondingly, three (3) barangays received a certificate of recognition namely Barangay Buenavista, Barangay Poblacion 2, and Barangay Singat, for its effective management of their referral system on VAW-C desk.
